The first qualified inquiry that lands in your inbox from a real renter searching on RentalCarComps. Even if you close that one as a booking, you're not charged for it — commission only kicks in starting with the second closed booking, and monthly billing only starts after the first lead lands.
When you confirm the booking is closed (you mark it 'booked' or 'completed' in the host dashboard). 10% of that booking's total is invoiced to you the following week. You handle the payment from the renter directly — we don't sit in the middle.
Yes — switch any time from the Billing section in your host dashboard. The change applies at the start of the next billing cycle, so any commissions accrued in the current cycle still come due, but no new ones accrue after the switch.
No. Monthly plans bill month-to-month — cancel any time and you'll keep access through the end of that billing period. Commission-only has no card on file, so 'cancel' just means removing your listings (which you can do from the dashboard with no further interaction).
Starter and Pro caps (5 and 20 listings) are enforced when you try to publish a 6th or 21st active listing — the dashboard will prompt you to upgrade or pause an existing one. You can hold unlimited drafts at any tier. Fleet has no cap.
